Google pursuing Vitalik Buterin for Blockchain Development? [PROOF]

Vitalik is Asking his Twitter followers if he should Join Google (He has since deleted the Tweet)

Vitalik Buterin the founder of Ethereum recently tweeted a survey asking his followers if he should leave Ethereum and go work for Google. (Screenshot below)

Google is looking to expand its development towards blockchain technology. They are trying hard to implement their own distributed digital ledger and also to advance their cloud operation platform which they believe to be the natural home for future tech.

The Search Engine Giant has been acquiring startups with digital ledger prowess. They are also currently exploring various fields where blockchain technology can be applied to their core business. Recruiting a team of world-class developers seem like the only next logical step.

It is unclear why Buterin decided to delete the tweet (probably failing to censor the recruiters email) after receiving a poll of more than 2000 followers favoring him to stay and continue working on Ethereum.

He tweeted a screenshot of a portion of an email which he received from a Google headhunter. The email clearly suggested that Google should be his next obvious choice.

Insiders in Google have indicated that Alphabet, Google’s parent company is attempting to use blockchain-based tech to spearhead its cloud business.

Who is Vitalik Buterin and why is he the obvious choice?

If you aren’t familiar with Vitalik Buterin, he is the co-founder of the second biggest cryptocurrency by market cap at $60 Billion, called Ethereum.

Vitalik Buterin is Russian-Canadian developer who is also a co-founder of Bitcoin Magazine. He learned about Bitcoin from his father at the age of 17. In 2013, he moved to Toronto and published a white paper proposing Ethereum.
